Psych Scribe Overview
Here are a few core concepts that will help you better understand how Psych Scribe works and help you get started.
1. Note Creation
Once you have logged into Psych Scribe, you will have options on the homepage for generating notes. Each of these notes has a specific purpose, and you will want to choose the one appropriate for your needs. You can learn more about each type of note here. You can also access all of the note generators from the menu in the top right of the page, under the Generate Note dropdown.
2. Note Longevity
It’s important to note that Psych Scribe does not store your notes at all. This means that if you forget to copy your note out of Psych Scribe into your EHR or if you reload the page once your note has been generated, you will not be able to get it back. The same goes for any of the note generator questionnaires; if the page is reloaded, anything you have entered will be deleted.
3. Flexibility
We do our best to keep Psych Scribe as flexible as possible. Aside from a few core questions that we need answered to generate a note, almost all prompts on the questionnaires are optional. If a prompt is not relevant to you, simply skip to the next one. Additionally, most of our prompts offer an “other” option or “additional information” text box where you can provide your own answer for a particular prompt.
With these core concepts in mind, you’re well on your way to utilizing Psych Scribe effectively. Remember to choose the appropriate note generator for your needs, copy your generated notes to your EHR, and take advantage of the flexibility offered by the questionnaires. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our support team. We’re committed to helping you streamline your note-taking process and enhance your workflow.
